I was not aware of the significance of the signing of
my guestbook by Ruthie Steele recently. Only after I
emailed her thanking her for the great comments she
had made about my website did I discover how
fortunate I was to have a celebrity like her
appreciating the work I had done. Excerpts below are

with her twin sister.

played at her Family gathering when she dies.

Dear Joel,

A short time ago, I received a call from my AUSTRALIAN FRIEND ,
DARRYL.

His friend Colleen, who had asked for my song "HARD BLOWING
WIND" to be played at her funeral....has now passed away.

God bless her and her Family!!! And God bless YOU, for letting me
put her picture on my own web space on ROCKINGHAM
REMEMBERED.
Thank you so very much.

Also...I have moved from Nashville, down to Gainesville,
Georgia...about 300 miles from Nashville. I now live right on the
banks of LAKE LANIER and as I sit here at my computer , I am
looking out on my lifelong dream: LIVING ON THE WATER!!!!
I am truly blessed!!!















I will be hooking up with the ATLANTA area Music people soon. I will
keep you posted.

My son DAVID STEELE is undertaking a project to add/play dobro
