| As I sit here at my computer, looking out on my deck that overlooks LAKE LANIER, Gainesville, Ga...I see my big American Flag waving proudly in the wind...and it reminds me again, how lucky I am to have been born in and live in AMERICA!!!!! My father fought in World War 1...he was badly wounded. My brother Darrell fought in World War 2 My brother Link served in the Army My brother Ronnie served in the Navy My Son Roger served in the Navy My Grandsons Rocky Stiehl and Christopher Helms both served in Iraq... And Many of my nephews, neices and cousins, brothers-in-law... (Too many to name here) have also served in the Military. My very first love, ( I was 16 at the time) a young Marine named PAUL SAVORY, died in the KOREAN WAR...fighting to keep America Free. Patriotism MEANS a LOT to ME. Always HAS....ALWAYS WILL!! I hope that ALL of you continue to stand tall and be PROUD of your country!!!! Please don't EVER let ANYBODY convince you that AMERICA is not something to be PROUD of!!! The attached music file is a song that I wrote about America's FLAG and Patriotism The singer is named PASCHA HANNER. She was 17 when she recorded this. I hope you like it and live it!
