Mid-nineteenth century
Dr. D. N. Patterson (b.ca. 1826) ornamented his handsome story-and-a-half
frame residence with three steep front gables, a Gothic Revival treatment.
Weatherboard siding sheathes the walls, and wood shingles remain on the
front gables (the rest of the gable roof is metal-sheathed). To read more
