| Uncle John Heavner. He was brother to Frank and my mom. John ran the Five Points Barber Shop for many years. When we were kids, he would come over to our house and give all us boys haircuts on the backporch. While I lived in Florida, he was a big help to mom and would take her out to breakfast many times. He had 4 children, John Jr, whom lives in Charleston, Richard, whom lives in Goldsboro, Marilyn, whom lives in Raleigh, and Teresa, whom lives in Brasstown, NC. John died in Jan 1996. |
