| Taken in the 1950s, this is Rachel and Artemus Bailey, dad's brother and his wife. I was quite young when Artemus died and don't know the year. Rachel used to work at the Ford dealership in Rockingham with my wife's uncle, John Maness. |
| This was Vernon Bailey and his wife Mary. He was dad's brother also. I don't remember much about Vernon. There was also a brother, D.B. I have no picture of him either. All I remember about D.B was that he had white hair (of course, alot of the Baileys had that). He was about the same size as Vernon. |
| <<This was my uncle L.D. and his wife, Rosa Lee. She is still with us. I don't remember when LD died but he ran a dry cleaners on Rockingham Rd for years. He had 3 children, Bill, Mary and Jerry. They all still live in Rockingham. There was another brother, Jim, but I don't have a picture of him and don't remember when he died. Jim used to also have a cleaners on Airport Rd and also installed storm windows and doors. I worked at his shop for a while when I was young. |
