| While going through some old photos, papers, etc. from my parent's home, I found this Souvenir Program of Rockingham's 175th Anniversary from 1959. I barely remember this event in Rockingham as I was only 11 years old at the time but I do remember my dad growing a beard for the celebration. So, I have scanned some of the old advertisements and writings that appeared in the program and will include them on this page. I am sure a lot of our viewers will recognize these establishments of that era but I would guess that most of these businesses have since closed or ceased to exist for other reasons - as it has been 50 years since that celebration.
