| This is a photo of the inside of Farmers Bank in the 1940s. The Farmers Bank was chartered in 1901 and in 1965 it merged with the Southern National Bank. (It was located at the corner of Lee and Washington Streets. I believe the building is still there, but with different occupants in 2003.) |
