| Here is a snapshot of my Dad, Harry A. West, Sr., found when clearing out the house, which was damaged and faded (left). I am doing some restoration work on it (right). It was taken as he returned from the Post Office, which was to the left of the hedge. The Courthouse is visible in the right background. This photo was likely taken in the late 1930's, as indicated by the autos. I believe that vertical grills went out by the 1940's. |
