| Unfortunately, the only member of this musical group that could be identified was the guitarist, C. R. McNair, who grew up to serve as postmaster of Rockingham from 1942 to 1955. The odd thing about the photo, says McNair's son, C. R. McNair of Tulsa, Okla, is that, "Obviously, it was a put-on. My father couldn't play the guitar as a youngster, and what's more, he never learned to play one." |
