Thanks for a great site! Brings back lots of memories of going to
Rockingham with my Mom and Dad (Jim (Bubba) and Joan Bennett of
Ellerbe) in the 60’s for shopping at the Seafood Center and hanging out
in Rockingham with my friends in the early 70’s I really like the Civil
Water Letter. My grandmother, Ethel Bennett of Ellerbe, instilled in me
a great appreciation for the history of the War Between the States. I
wonder if it would be possible to get a text file of the letter. I like
sharing this kind of thing with my son.
