We have been out west since 1966. We moved from Rockingham to Tucson Arizona and then to Abilene, Texas, Crane , Texas and we have been here for 32 years. We usually go to N.C. every other year. Stella now lives in Williamston, N.C. with Don. We were there last year and got caught in the middle if Isabel in Williamston. We started the Temple Baptist Church in Rockingham in 1962 after graduating from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. We have just retired from pastoring here for 32 years and will go to N.C. early next spring. I noticed Horace Hyatt was mentioned in the web site and he and I have been good friends since we were teens. Sincerely, J. Stancil White |

I used to attend the East Rham Baptist church with my wife, Sandra, while I was dating her. That was back in the mid '60s. If you talk to Don and Stella, tell them we said hello. In fact, my wife will probably be emailing you soon. Hope to hear back from you, Joel |

Brantly even calls once and awhile now. We have four daughters and seven grandkids from ages 10-27. Two of our daughters live here in Clovis. Darcella, number three daughter is married to an Air Force man stationed here at Cannon AFB. She met him here at Church about three years ago and the rest is history. He is from Sanford, N.C. Larelle, our number four is a cosmetologist at JC Penney's.Has three kids. Starla, our number two lives in Lubbock and has never married. She is a non-food manager in a large super market. Cheryl, our number one lives in Las Cruces, N.M. and has four grown kids. I have written about a 16 page article about my boyhood days that I gave to my grandkids and hope to ad more to it. I still have it in my computer. (Hopefully, Stan will let me publish his article to this website.) Best Regards, Stan |
