Joel,
This one is of my brother, Tim Bennett (RSHS ‘73), with one of our
dogs, Sam. This was taken on March 11, 1964. This footage contained
my sister, Susan’s, fourth birthday (I counted the candles). Tim would
have been 9 years old here. Tragically, we would lose Tim on June 18,
1989 (Fathers’ Day). He was killed while serving with the Ellerbe Fire
Department fighting a fire at Richmond Yarns.
